Every December, our community comes together to embrace the spirit of the season while making a meaningful impact. As part of our commitment to supporting children and families in need, our foundation hosts the annual 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive.
This signature event brings residents, supporters, and visitors together to celebrate responsibly, uplift local businesses, and contribute new, unwrapped toys for deserving children. Through connection, generosity, and holiday cheer, we transform a festive gathering into a powerful act of giving.

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community and creating meaningful impact through festive events and local collaborations. What began as a small holiday pub crawl among friends has grown into a cherished annual tradition—one that brings people together while helping support hundreds of families each holiday season.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy, connection, and compassion are powerful forces for good. By combining celebration with charitable purpose, we build a stronger, more engaged Hermosa Beach community. Through our annual toy drive—held in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department—we are able to bring holiday cheer directly to children and families who need it most.

Join us for one of Hermosa Beach’s most festive community traditions as we jingle our way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue—celebrating the season while giving back to local families.
Event Details
Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to participate—simply bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
Dress Code: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies… the more festive, the better!
Where Your Donation Goes: All toys collected will be donated to the Hermosa Beach Police Department Toy Drive, supporting children and families in need within our community.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
